Privacy notice

How we handle personal data when you use this website, request a sample or subscribe to our newsletter.

1. Who is responsible for your data

EVRI Ingredients is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

2. What we collect, and why

Contact and sample requests

Your name, company, email address, phone number if you give one, the ingredients you selected and the content of your message.

Why: to answer your question, send samples and specifications, and keep a record of what was sent. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, and the performance of a contract where a supply follows.

Newsletter

Your email address, and whether you opened or clicked a mailing.

Why: to send market trends, insights and new ingredients. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you subscribe. Every mailing carries an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies and website use

Your cookie preferences, and — where you allow it — statistics about which pages you visit.

Why: to keep the site working and to understand which content is useful. Lawful basis: strictly necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest; everything else is set only with your consent. See the cookie policy.

Server logs

Your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, recorded automatically by our hosting provider.

Why: security, fraud prevention and diagnosing faults. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. This is a business-to-business website.

3. Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:

  • Hostinger, our website hosting provider, on servers in the Netherlands. Enquiries and sample requests are stored in a database on this same hosting, so they do not leave the European Union;
  • Google Analytics, but only if you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, it is never loaded and no data reaches Google;
  • logistics partners, where a sample or order has to be shipped to you;
  • our accountant and, where legally required, the tax authorities.

Each provider acts on our instructions under a processing agreement. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and sample requests that do not lead to a supply: 24 months.
  • Customer and supply records: for as long as the relationship lasts, then for the statutory retention period that applies to commercial and tax records in the Netherlands.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • Cookie consent: 11 months, after which you are asked again.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it to another provider. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can withdraw consent for the newsletter or for cookies at any time.

Write to Info@evri-ingredients.com and we will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, in The Hague.

6. Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top. For anything unclear, email Info@evri-ingredients.com — a person will answer.
